It doest exist different kind of drilling such as  :

• drilling of water for any depth, any diameter
• drilling for geothermy on groundwater
• drilling for geothermy with probe
• drilling and well of infiltration
• etc.....

Generally, drilling rigs include:

• The pump, generally immersed in the drilling and always equipped with a lid anti-return
• The column of expulsion,
• The cables of food(supply) of the pump
• A hood allowing the passage of the column, the cables and the tube guide-probe
• A meter adding up the taken volumes

To define the conditions of exploitation which will guarantee a long life in the drilling and will not put the resource in danger, it is necessary to realize hydraulic tests:

    * The study of well, consisted of enchained pumpings in increasing and short-term flow allows to define the exploitable maximal debit on the work
    * The study of groundwater is a long-term continuous pumping which allows to verify if the groundwater is able of supplying durably the debit of exploitation defined during the study of well.

It is from these two studies that will be defined the debit of the pump which will equip the work, its position and the regime of exploitation ; this to protect at the same time the resource, the drilling and the pump.
